My name is Matthew Lucas. I run Free Range CrossFit in Tempe, AZ as well as the Foodee Project. I am not a nutritionist and my background is actually in architecture. I take a "black box" approach to my lifestyle. Rather than speculating whether something works or not, I like to try it and observe the results. If it works I keep it, if not, I don't. I have been living a paleo lifestyle for the past 3 years and it has changed my life. My performance, health and overall outlook on life has improved. This project has become one of the most exciting and rewarding things I have been a part of, and I will use it to help as many people improve their lives through proper nutrition as possible.
